Classic Ice Sculptures is headed by Greg Beachey, CCC, CIC. Chef Greg is a Certified Chef de Cuisine by the American Culinary Federation (ACF) and a Certified Ice Carver by the National Ice Carving Assoc (NICA). Greg has been carving for nearly ten years, the past five competitively. he has garnered several awards. Greg is also a NICA judge. You may see Chef Greg occasionally on local TV stations and nearly every month at the Martin's SuperMarkets Cooking School. Chef Greg was honored as the ACF Chapter Chef of the Year in 2001 in Kalamazoo, and in 2007 in South Bend. He currently serves as the president of the ACF South Bend Chefs and Cooks Assoc. Chef currently teaches Culinary Arts at the Elkhart Area Career Center. There he is a coach for the culinary competitions, where his students have earned numerous regional medals. The EACC students have earned a total of seven Indiana state championships under Greg's guidance, along with a state championship in Restaurant Management. Greg is active in SkillsUSA, serving on the National Education Team for Culinary Arts, and serving as a culinary judge for secondary and post-secondary contests at the National Championships.
